Molecular Cell Biology
Molecular cell biology comprises several research lines on complex cellular processes with major topics focusing on cellular functioning and differentiation, cellular behaviour and movement in chemotaxis and quorum sensing, cell senescence in relation to stress phenomena, and finally organelle biogenesis. Here, functional genomics, in vivo fluorescence spectroscopical methods, and (ultra)structural analysis are integrated to obtain a detailed view of the processes studied.
