(Molecular) Systems biology and bioinformatics
(Molecular) Systems biology and bioinformatics profit from in-house facilities for transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics that have strongly stimulated full functional genomics studies of regulatory networks in microorganisms and their interactions in complex processes such as transport systems, metabolism, stress, cell differentiation, and competence development. Bioinformatics and computational microbiology is firmly and successfully integrated, enabling the systems biological analysis of the organisms studied.
