Open Education

Open education means making use of free, adaptable, and reshareable educational resources in your teaching, as well as sharing your own materials using open licenses. By using open educational resources (OER), teachers can transform their courses into more student-focused, interactive experiences, and by sharing their materials, they can help other teachers bring their education to a higher level, saving resources and reducing the barriers to quality education.

The open education specialists of the University of Groningen Library are here to help teachers who want to start using OER, or who want to create and share their own materials openly.
