UB staff strike on 18 March - limited services

On 18 March 2025, staff members of the University of Groningen will strike in protest against the cuts to higher education. Staff members of the University Library will also put their work on hold to draw attention to the consequences of the planned cuts.

Library services

As a result, some library services may be disrupted throughout the day:

• Library Support Desk UB City Centre: Open from 8:30 am to 10:30 am, closed afterwards.

• UB Zernike: Closed for the entire day.
