Multidisciplinary educational programme

organized by FEB & FSE

Collaboration between FEB & FSE

Both the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Faculty of Science & Engineering (FSE) are already offering a variety of course units in the field of digitization, such as IT Governance, Data Science and Marketing Analytics, Strategic Management of Information Technology and Technology-enabled Innovation & E-health. The two faculties are working together within the GDBC to create a unique curriculum that combines the relevant course units from both faculties.

The result of this collaboration is a multidisciplinary Master’s course unit that focuses on digital entrepreneurship. Upon completion of this course unit, students of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) and the Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) can be awarded a certificate or a note on their Master of Science degree certificate.

In addition, the GDBC will be developing a multidisciplinary Master’s degree programme in Marketing Analytics and Data Science over the next few years. The interesting thing about this programme is that it will incorporate the combined knowledge of two faculties and that digital companies in the Northern Netherlands will contribute their practical knowledge in guest lectures, case studies and final-year internships. The new Master’s degree programme is expected to start in 2021.
