To promote the advancement of women in the university, the University of Groningen offers a prestigious fellowship programme, named after Rosalind Franklin.
As part of the programme, the Faculty of Philosophy is looking for candidates in the field of social philosophy, political philosophy and/or philosophy of culture.
The Faculty of Philosophy is a rich and vibrant community with an excellent record both in teaching and in research. It consists of four departments: History of Philosophy, Ethics, Practical Philosophy and Theoretical Philosophy. There are about 400 students and 35 staff members.
