Admissions procedures

  • How long will it take for my application to be processed?

The Admissions Office strives to issue an admission outcome within 10 working days after a complete application has been received and verified in OAS. Please notice that, if you apply in the final two weeks before the deadline, they may need the full legal term of 6 weeks due to a last minute peak in applications.

    Ask your question

  • How will I be notified about the Admissions Board decision?

Within 2 to 4 weeks after the Admissions Office received your complete application, you will receive an email with the Admissions Board decision.

  • Who should I contact at the RUG if I have been awarded a scholarship/grant?

If you have been granted a STUNED, a NFP scholarship or an Erik Bleumink Fund (EBF) or any other Dutch grant, then you should contact the Mobility and Scholarship Desk of the University of Groningen (Tel: 050 363 3962/5972, e-mail: msd rug.nl ) to arrange an appointment with the contact person of the relevant scholarship/grant. Alternatively, you can ask your contact person at the Faculty of Economics and Business to make an appointment for you.

    Ask your question

  • When will I receive my student number and student card?

A few weeks after you have been admitted you will receive an email with your student nummer and an explanation on the procedure how you can apply for your student card. Upon arrival in Groningen you can collect your student card at the Student Support Desk in the Plaza of the Duisenberg Building.
