When:Mo 22-06-2020 14:00 - 16:00

"Good data lifecycle management practice, based on the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) is essential for the use and reuse of research data. But how to find and choose the right IT facilities?"

In the era of digital research, the full lifecycle of (digital) research data and the correct technical solutions and its related tools are still not yet completely known to us.
This online workshop will help you to find, select, setup and use IT facilities (delivered by the Center for Information Technology) which support your research project optimal.

After the workshop you will be able:

  1. To find, select, setup and use IT facilities that are suitable for your research data.
  2. You will have better solutions for the transportation and the storage of your data.
  3. You will be aware of rules and regulations related to IT facilities.
  4. Will help you to have better management during each stage of your data life cycle.

This is a general workshop and useful for all researchers, including PhD candidates and research masters, of all disciplines at the University of Groningen.
