DRM and publishers' e-books platforms

Important publishers with an e-books platform are Cambridge University Press, Oxford University Press, Bloomsbury, Springer-Nature, De Gruyter-Brill, Wiley-Blackwell, Elsevier, Thieme and Taylor & Francis.
Chapters from these e-books can be downloaded and printed without restrictions. From some publishers the entire e-book can be downloaded.

Many e-books however are published on so called DRM platforms (DRM = Digital Rights Management). Options for printing and downloading are then limited.
