Can I include the DOI of my thesis in the printed version of my thesis?

The DOI is generated by the University Library once we have processed the final version of your thesis.
We generate DOIs once a week in a batch. As the DOI is a Digital Object Identifier, it is linked to the digital version of your thesis and therefore does not need to be included in the printed version.
The DOI links to the landing page for your thesis on the University of Groningen’s research portal and contains a URL. This is also why we only generate the DOI once we have added your thesis to the research portal.
