Installation of new artwork: temporary alternative route in the UB

The University Library is preparing for a new artwork in the central hall: Dale Chihuly’s Grand Stairwell Installation from the Groninger Museum. The artwork will be installed from 4 to 17 November.
How will this affect you?
Alternative route
During the installation, part of the ground-floor central hall will be cordoned off. As a result, the usual entrance via the access gates will temporarily be unavailable. An alternative route via Career Services will be available. Signs will indicate the route on site, and staff will help you find your way if necessary.
Unfortunately, the alternative route is not wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair users and other visitors who need assistance with access can report to the Facility Desk. Staff will guide you inside via a different route.
Possible disruption
We will try to minimize disruption as much as possible. However, you may experience some noise and dust during the work.
