Extra study places in the UB during exam period

Forgot to reserve a study place in the UB? Good news: during the upcoming UG-only period, 50 extra study places will be available in the Tammeszaal on the 4th floor without a reservation.

No reservation for Tammeszaal and Bladergroenzaal

You don't need to make a reservation to study in the Tammeszaal and also in the Bladergroenzaal on the 1st floor. Simply come in and find an available seat. Please keep in mind that full is full, so a place in these rooms cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that during UG-only periods, reservation is required for all other study places in the UB.

When are they available?

The extra study spaces in the Tammeszaal and in the Bladergroenzaal will be available during the upcoming UG-only period from 12 October until 4 November 2026. 

Please note that the Tammeszaal will not be available as a study place on:

• 14 October
• 26-29 October

You can find the exact location in RUG Maps: the Tammeszaal is located on the 4th floor and the Bladergroenzaal is on the 1st floor of the UB.
