Free access to several Dutch newspapers for students

As a UG student, you can get free access to twelve Dutch newspapers.

Dagblad van het Noorden

Dagblad van het Noorden (DVHN) is the regional daily newspaper for the provinces of Groningen and Drenthe.

Create an account with your student email address while connected to the UG network (on campus). After that, you can keep reading the DVHN newspaper for free on and off campus.

11 newspapers from DPG Media

Are you between 16 and 25 years old? Then you can get a free student subscription from DPG Media. This gives you access to eleven newspapers, including the Volkskrant, Trouw, Het Parool, and AD.

The subscription is personal and works through the Volkskrant news app on one mobile phone or tablet.

After 12 months, it will automatically be checked whether you are still a student. If so, your free access will remain active.
