Logging in to Wolters Kluwer is now anonymous

Logging in to Wolters Kluwer Inview and Legal Intelligence via SURFconext is now anonymous, meaning that no personal data such as your email address, first name and surname is shared with Wolters Kluwer. The publisher can still see which institution a user belongs to, but not who the user is.
New users already log in this way.
What should existing users do?
Have you created your InView account before 2025? Then you need to anonymize it yourself before 14 November 2025 if you want to keep your personal settings, such as favorite sources on the home page and the labels, notes and markings.
Please note: Since email addresses are no longer used, notifications will no longer function.
How do you anonymize your InView account?
1. Go to Inview.nl
2. Select 'Log in' (top right)
3. Select the 'Student/Staff' button
4. Select 'University of Groningen'
5. Log in with your student or staff account
6. Once you have logged in to Inview, click on the blue dot in the top right corner
7. Select the 'My Account' settings wheel
8. Click on 'Anonymize User'
9. Click on 'Confirm' in the next pop-up screen
10. You will see in the top right corner that it has been successful and you are done!
What happens after 14 November 2025?
After this date, non-anonymized accounts will be deleted by Wolters Kluwer. All personal settings will be lost. When you log in again via SURFconext, a new anonymous account will be created automatically.
