Dutch universities have signed a so-called S2O deal with two publishers: Annual Reviews and Amsterdam University Press (AUP). S2O means Subscribe to Open. Thanks to the support of subscribing institutions like the UG, these journals are fully open access with no costs for authors.
The deal with AUP runs until 31 December 2024. The deal with Annual Reviews started a year later and also runs for three years; until 31 December 2025.
