Join us in '350 years Bommen Berend'- the clip!

08 May 2022

At the end of August there will be 'Party in Stad': the 350th anniversary of the liberation of Groningen in 1672, after a long siege by Bernhard van Galen, bishop of Münster, better known as Bommen Berend.

To bring the festivities to everyone's attention, the team that was once responsible for the famous University of Groningen Lipdub has joined forces again!

Once again, we are going to make a dazzling music video, starting with a scene in which the seventeenth-century Groningers are told that the enemy has withdrawn and a big party erupts in the city. This clip, with a song specially made on the subject, will appear in June on all possible channels and platforms, with the aim of attracting as many young people as possible to the festivities in the city at the end of August.

On Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 May, the recordings are planned. For this we need as many enthusiastic young people as possible, who want to sing and dance along at one of the filming locations in the city center!

Would you like to join us? Then sign up now! Singing and dancing experience are not necessary; enthusiasm is enough!
