Access printed and digital collection
Our collection - printed and digital - can be found via our online catalogue SmartCat. A small part of the printed publications is on open display in the study rooms. The digital collection can be consulted anywhere by UG students and staff. External users have access via the walk-in PCs in the UB.
Printed collections
Are you a UG student or staff member? Then your UG card is also your library card. In the study rooms, you can pick up books yourself and consult or borrow them. However, most of our collection is in closed stacks and you have to request publications via the online catalogue SmartCat.
Special Collections
Special Collections of the UB include collections of manuscripts, incunabula, papyri, printed works up to 1900, historical atlases and more. You can view works from this collection in the Special Collections room with of your UG card or library card.
Documentatiecentrum Nederlandse Politieke Partijen (DNPP) - Documentation Centre for Dutch Political Parties
The DNPP collects publications and data, conducts socially relevant research and presents valid information on political parties. Part of the (printed) collection is in open display.

E-resources and off-campus access
You automatically have access to all our digital resources when using a university computer or when logging in via UWP on your laptop or from home.
Even outside the university’s systems, students and staff of the UG can access digital journals, databases and e-books.
