Biography:
Petrus Groeneboom (1874-1963) was a classicist and professor of Greek language and literature at the University of Groningen from 1917-1940.
He corresponded with classicist Jacobus Maurits Fraenkel, who was a pupil of Leiden professor of philosophy G.P.J.P. Bolland.
Acquisition: This archive was a donation by the son of J.M. Fraenkel, dr. J.J. Fraenkel.
Future additions: No future additions are expected.
Contents and collation: The archive contains letters to Jacobus Maurits Fraenkel (1867-1924), classicist.
