Working Experience Program Singapore

02 April 2015

Singapore internships made available by RUG alumni.

Interested in gaining international work experience? Ready to put what you have learned at the RUG into practice? Look out for the internship vacancies made available through the Working Experience Program Singapore (WEP). Via the alumni network of the University of Groningen and the Ubbo Emmius Fund of the University, RUG students now get the unique opportunity to gain international work experience during a two-month paid internship in the modern and vibrant city-state Singapore.

For example, ABN AMRO is looking for an intern that can support the bank in strategic initiatives aimed at further growth of the Private Banking activities in Asia. Or, do you think you could handle a marketing internship? Phillips is looking for an intern that can support the marketing department with market research activities.

Feedback from last year’s interns vary from ‘excellent guidance’ to ‘challenging tasks’, not to mention the additional social/network opportunities that alumni in Singapore will provide by organizing a few meetings. Of course, we are looking for independent, strong-willed and open-minded students. Students will have to look for their own accommodation and are in charge of their own visa- application.

Interested? Find an overview of all internships and find the full vacancies in Career ConNEXT or click here.

Start date: July 1st, 2915
Duration: 8 weeks
Deadline for application: depends on internship (April 6th/April 12th)
