Lifely discussions at the first ENTEG Women in Academia career event

21 November 2022

On 10 th November, the first ‘Women in Academia’ career event was organised by ENTEG (Edita Jurak, Anastasiia Krushynska and Jingxiu Xie). A diverse panel, ranging from full professor (Beatriz Noheda), associate professor (Ranjita Bose), assistant professor (Loredana Protesescu) and PhD candidate (Carmen Chan), were invited to a panel discussion where they shared their experiences, advices, celebration moments, struggles etc. in academia. Over 70 people from different institutes and career stage) registered and around 40 people attended and raised some interesting questions to the panellists. We were delighted that also our male colleagues joined the discussion. After 1.5 h of panel discussion we continued in a more informal setting over some drinks and snacks. The photos below give an impression of the event and the networking drinks. Overall, the event was a success and there are already ideas for the next activity!
