The Centre for Behaviour and Neurosciences

Welcome to the site of the Centre of Behaviour and Neurosciences. This Research Institute of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences is an integral part of the Research School for Behavioural and Cognitive Neurosciences (BCN) of the University of Groningen.

The institute CBN stimulates and integrates the scientific study of the mechanisms underlying information processing in the peripheral and central nervous system and the organization of behaviour.

CBN is equipped with technical and scientific expertise for:

• basic molecular and biophysical analysis
• system physiology and endocrinology
• behavioural functioning of the intact organism
