Stranded! A whale in Groningen

Exhibition around the skeleton of a fin whale that was beached on the Dutch coast and which has since then been part of the research collection of the univserity.

In the exhibition parts of the huge skeleton are exhibited and you can learn more on the history of whaling as well as the research that takes place at the University of Groningen on this subject.
