Journals and newspapers
The University of Groningen Library offers access to around 30,000 different e-journals, and has subscriptions to a number of printed journals and newspapers.
Online journals
The e-journals are available online to UG students and staff. You can will find them in SmartCat or use Browzine, the convenient app for browsing, reading and organizing your favourite journals and journal articles:
Printed journals
The current issues of the printed journals are held on the first floor of the University Library. These issues are not lendable. Previous volumes of printed journals are held in the closed stacks and can be requested via SmartCat.
Newspapers
The UB also holds subscriptions to a couple of printed national newspapers. You will find them on the first floor. The international newspapers that the UB has a subscription to can only be accessed online, e.g. the New York Times, El Pais, Die Zeit, The Guardian and many more. You can access them via:
