400 years of Groningen dissertations
With the publication of a new Library Guide on University of Groningen dissertations, older (printed) dissertations have been made more readily discoverable.
Dissertations 1614-2013
Via SmartCat (the University of Groningen catalogue), you will find an overview of approximately 14,000 (mainly) printed theses from 1614 to 2013. Theses from before 2014 are almost exclusively available in printed form and can therefore only be requested via SmartCat. A limited number of dissertations from this period are available digitally via the UG Research Portal. All these dissertations are now easier to find with the new Library Guide.
