Theme Cabinet: Sources of Inspiration by Joost Oomen

Joost Oomen is a poet, writer, theatre maker and drummer. This year, he is also guest author at the University of Groningen. Previously, he served as the university's poet-in-residence and later as the city poet of Groningen. In honor of his guest authorship, the Theme Cabinet and the online Curated List are dedicated to the theme 'Sources of Inspiration'.

Joost believes that language is more than a tool for communication; it's a way to express yourself, connect with others and bring about change.

In that spirit, we present a collection of books that move, surprise and inspire. Think of books about creativity, imagination and inspiration. But also books about poetry, art, science and literature that will stay with you.
