Theme Cabinet: Beyond the Gender Binary
From: | Mo 15-09-2025 |
Until: | Sa 15-11-2025 |
Where: | UB City Centre, 2nd floor |

Over the coming months, the Theme Cabinet will focus on ‘Beyond the Gender Binary’.
In the UB and on the online Curated Lists you’ll find an extensive selection of literature (non-fiction, fiction, poetry, and graphic novels) that addresses gender diversity and thinking beyond the traditional dichotomy between ‘man’ and ‘woman’.
The theme cabinet is intended for anyone who wants to explore gender from different angles - whether you have personal experience with breaking gender norms or are simply curious about other perspectives. The collection includes academic works as well as literature and personal stories by authors such as Andrea Gibson, Judith Butler, and Alice Oseman.
This edition is a collaboration between the University Library and the Diversity & Inclusion Office. Many thanks to Flanor Literary Student Association and everyone else who enthusiastically contributed their ideas.
