UB plan 2026-2031

In an era of digitalisation, Open Science, and AI, the UB's role is shifting further away from that of a traditional curator of knowledge towards that of a facilitator and a connector.

We are an indispensable pillar in supporting the university's staff and students. We provide services designed to enhance research, teaching and impact. We tailor the development of these services to the needs of our users. In addition, we maintain close links with the region and actively collaborate with it. In this way, we support the transition to a fifth-generation university.

The UB plan explains the UB's contribution to the UG's Institutional Plan 2026-2031. The document first outlines the ambitions of the UB, and then details the UB's core tasks, mission, vision and core values. The plan specifies six strategic objectives:
