The Central Medical Library will be closed until further notice.

Reserve a seat

During this period, you cannot reserve a seat or group room at the CMB.

Borrow & return books

Borrowing books remains possible. You can request books via SmartCat, pick up is only possible at the self-service of the University Library City Centre. For UMCG employees, we can also send requested books to your workplace via internal mail. Send us an email if you want that.

You can return library books via the Bookbox outside the University Library City Centre.

Online services

All online services will continue as usual.

Ebooks

Do you urgently need a specific book? Let us know and we will try to get it as an e-book.

Request articles

Students and staff can still request journal articles from other libraries.

Although you cannot make an on-site appointment during the closing period, you can always contact us by email for assistance. Or schedule an online meeting:
