On 2 and 3 September, the next edition of Proeven in Groningen awaits us. The idea has stayed simple and successful over the years: visitors exchange tokens to sample all kinds of foods from different restaurants from all over Groningen.
In the more intimate setting given by the Harmonie square in the Oude Kijk in het Jatstraat, you can stroll along and have a taste at the different stands by Groningen’s best restaurants. Returning this year, Wolthoorn & Co Bierlokaal: an authentic pub where you can try a variety of speciaalbier. The past editions of Proeven in Groningen saw thousands of visitors. Worried about the weather? Don’t be; the Harmonie building along with umbrellas will offer more than enough shelter from the rain.
