Apply now!

University College Groningen provides a wonderful environment for today's broadly engaged and motivated students to learn, live and - more than that - thrive. We look forward to welcoming you to our student community, so apply now and ensure you get a spot at University College Groningen! All applications to Higher Education institutes in the Netherlands start in Studielink.

Great that you have decided to apply to University College Groningen! Please note that we review applications on a first come, first serve basis. If you are keen to be part of our Liberal Arts and Science programme, we encourage and recommend you to complete your application as soon as possible. You can already submit your application before finishing your final exams and be given a (conditional) place at UCG. Due to our selection process it will approximately take two weeks before you receive the decision letter from the Board of Admission. Please also note that we are a selective programme and therefore you will need to meet our minimum entry requirements in order to be considered for a place in our programme. More information about our application procedure could be found here. For the academic year of 2018-2019, we have 150 places available. Our application process opens on October 1st 2017 and the final application deadline is May 1st 2018.

Once you have applied for Liberal Arts and Sciences on Studielink, you will be assigned a UCG Student Buddy, who will be able to guide you through our application process. Your student buddy will also be able to answer all of your questions about University College Groningen, our study programme, student life and the city of Groningen.

Please note: You can apply for more than one University College in the Netherlands. Though we are a selective programme, we do not work with numerus fixus, meaning that you can apply for multiple UC's.

Please also note: UCG is a residential programme and living in our student housing is mandatory during the first year of your studies. There are no exceptions.
