dr. ir. J.N.M. (Jenny N. M.) Tan-Soetedjo

She is currently a postdoctoral employee pursuing the catalytic kinetic study of the furfural synthesis in Heeres Group under chemical reaction engineering department. She graduated as a Chemical Engineer from Parahyangan Catholic University Indonesia and got her Master of Science from University of New South Wales Australia. She did her PhD under the support of Indonesia government (DIKTI) and granted the doctoral degree from University of Groningen under the supervision of Prof. dr. ir. H. J. Heeres in 2017. She has been working as a lecturer since then and her last position is as the head of renewable energy research center in in Parahyangan Catholic University. She has received several research and community-service grants from Australia government, Indonesian government, Indonesia companies and Indonesia universities. She also managed to begin a collaboration in teaching and research with Curtin University and University of New South Wales along 2023-2024 through inbound and outbound student exchange and joint research supervision between universities. At this moment she is pursuing research, teaching and community-service collaborations with international research groups, universities, organizations and companies in Europe, especially in the Netherlands.
