This project focuses on developing a measurement instrument for perceived levels of democraticness of (participatory) policy- and decision-making procedures. It aims to better understand the psychological processes that underly subsequent policy acceptability, whilst providing governments with a validated tool for evaluating and optimising such (participatory) procedures across various contexts. Funded by the Groningen University Fund's 2022 BSS GUF-100 Award.
