Associate Professor – 2022-present

University Medical Center Groningen, Groningen, The Netherlands

·       Leading the Accelerator and Radiation Physics team of Particle Therapy Research Center (PARTREC).

·       Development of the research programme, securing of the funding

·       Leading the advancement of facility capabilities.

Beam Physicist (Staff) – 2017-2022

CERN, Beams Department, Meyrin, Switzerland

·       Management of beam lines for the fixed target experimental facilities and test beams (three beamlines, > 2 km total length)

·       Leadership of RF Separated Beam project (~60 MCHF budget)

·       Development of the beam lines for FLASH very high-energy electron therapy facility and for GaToroid gantry

·       Organization of collaborations between CERN Engineering Department and external institutions and universities

·       Lecturing to the graduate students at University of Oxford, CERN Summer School and FLUKA school

Research Fellow – 2013-2017

Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI), Villigen, Switzerland

·       Leadership of PSI Gantry 3 beam line commissioning

·       Design of a superconducting gantry with a large momentum acceptance

·       Various research projects concerning beam intensity compensation, transmission optimization, beam monitor development, activation safety systems etc.
