Important: the Graduation Procedure has changed. Please read the instructions below carefully.
You've (nearly) finished your Bachelor's or Master's degree programme. This means you have to organize the following:
Step 1
a)Two months before you finish your Bachelor's or Master's degree programme you have to compile a list of course modules for your degree programme in ProgRESSwww (progresswww.nl/rug).
b)After compiling the list of modules you must fill out the
Examination Programme Approval Form . You can only do this online. For instructions on compiling the list of course modules for your degree programme, please read the manual [DOCX](also available in PDF format [PDF]).

Step 2
Complete the
Application Degree Certificate Form
when your last results have been entered in ProgRESS. Only after you have completed this form will the Office for Student Affairs start the graduation procedure. You will receive a confirmation on your student email account.
Step 3
The final step: upload your thesis. Your thesis must be uploaded (in PDF format) through the thesis service of the Office for Student Affairs. It will be stored in the archives of your degree programme.
Please note:
The certificate procedure will take 6 to 8 weeks. During busy periods it may take longer. Bachelor degree certificate ceremonies will not take place every month.
You can check the progress of your graduation procedure in ProgRESSwww > enrolling > graduation procedure.
If you need a declaration of finishing your degree programme, you can request such a declaration form the Office for Student Affairs, but only if step 4-8 in the graduation procedure in ProgRESSwww are completed.
