Andreas Flache in first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) RUG
Sociologist Andreas Flache contributes to first MOOC of University of Groningen, to start on September 15, 2014.
The first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) of the University of Groningen will be launched soon within the platform FutureLearn (https://www.futurelearn.com).
The course has been initiated and coordinated by Professor Lex Hoogduijn (Economics) and will be about "Decision Making in a Complex and Uncertain World".
Sociologist Professor Andreas Flaches teaches a module on "Cellular Automata to study Social Self-Organisation".
The course will take place online and will consist of a variety of videos, articles, audio, discussions and finally, in the last week, a case study assignment.
