CAPES

The University of Groningen supports Brazilian students who would like to finance their (Sandwich) PhD trajectory with the help of the Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES).

Candidates who secure funding from CAPES are also eligible for our top-up program.

Since 2019, CAPES has focused on funding Sandwich PhDs, therefore, we encourage students to learn about our Sandwich PhD programs and the admission process.

A call for applications has been published each calendar year. To learn about future calls for applications keep an eye on the CAPES website.
