Museum of man, nature and science
Since 1934, the University Museum has been a scientific museum in the academic heart of the city of Groningen. Because of its multi-faceted collection, in which nature, culture and science go together, there is plenty to see.
On Tuesday 23 June the University Museum Groningen will reopen with the new exhibition DIG-IT-ALL: Archaeology of the future. We are very happy we can welcome visitors again and take them to the world of the 'Archaeology of the future', where we show tombes, ship wrecks and the archaelogy of plant and animals. Also, the exhibition 'Dead Zoo' is still on show, as well as the permanent collections 'Anatomy' and 'Aletta Jacobs'.
We hope to welcome you in our museum!
