The Royal Dutch Institute in Rome (KNIR)
Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome
KNIR serves as a bridge between the Dutch and Italian academic communities. It supports emerging and established researchers in the study of Rome and Italy. We examine the influence and significance of Italy and Italian culture, past and present, within and beyond Italy. Through university-level research and teaching on location in Rome, we bring Rome to the world and the world to Rome.
