About James Lomas, PhD

James Lomas is a research fellow at the Centre for Health Economics, University of York. He received his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Cambridge and his master’s degree in Health Economics from the University of York. His PhD thesis was concerned with the assessment of methods for modelling the distribution of healthcare costs. On various summer placements, James Lomas has worked at the OECD and the Department of Health (UK) and thus has gained field experience in the health sector.

This seminar is organised by Healthwise and the signature area Individual Health & The Economic Environment

Healthwise is a centre of expertise at the University of Groningen that links academic expertise to questions from the field by arranging multidisciplinary research to support the healthcare sector.
