The Genome Analysis Facility offers academic staff the possibility of using several state-of-the-art resources for modern genetic studies. Users are encouraged to contact us to discuss the details of potential experiments, and the role the facility can take in their research. We can support you in setting up your experiments, and provide information on the materials needed and the costs involved. Together we can clarify the terms and conditions, and make appointments for using the facilities before the start of your project.

 

 

Facilities

The Genome Analysis Facility is basically a ‘hotel facility’, which means that we provide the instruments and technical expertise. We can train staff from your research group who may want to use the facility on a regular basis. But for small experiments, or if special skills are needed, the facility’s own staff will perform the processing of your samples.
The data analysis is the responsibility of the researcher or research group, however, we can assist in basic analyses and introduce you to experienced researchers in the field.
