Prof. Schultze's research explores the complex relationship between digitalization and practices in everyday (work) life. While she has studied the work practice implications of knowledge management technology and of Internet-based self-service technology in the past, her more recent research explores the implications of social media on personal identity. Her research has been published in leading Information Systems journals, including ISR, MISQ, JSIS, ISJ, EJIS, JIT and I&O.
