On march 10, 2009 the conversion of our Reality Center started. In the old Cave we used four projectors, each with a resolution of 1024*1024. Especially in the Cave where people are walking around and might up very close to the screen, a higher resolution is very useful. Because the budget was very limited we will get CRT projectors with a resolution of 1400*1400 pixels.

The cave also has to move, in order to make room for the new theater. The new theater is a bit smaller, but instead of the three old projectors with 1024*768 pixels, we now have six HD projectors (1920*1080 pixels). What's more, the new projectors produce a lot more light. Another big change is the screen, the old screen used front projection whereas the new screen will be using back projection.
