CHS guest lecture - JANA WOHLMUTH MARKUPOVA (Charles University Prague): 'Václav Havel in the perspective of his family tradition in the 20th century'

The lecture will introduce the life of Václav Havel, Czech playwright, dissident, and the first Czechoslovak and Czech president after 1989. It will present his literary, public, and political activities with regard to the tradition of his family, in which a long business tradition and an interconnection with politics play an important role.
