Political events and economic consequences. Major international conference in Groningen, 7-10 April
What are the effects of provincial elections on the economy? How did the self-interest of European countries contribute to the euro crisis? What impact did the Arab Spring have on democratization in North Africa? Issues such as this - about the influence of politics on the economy- will be discussed at the European Public Choice Society (EPCS) Meeting from 7-10 April 2015 at the Faculty of Economics and Business.
During the scientific conference 225 scientists from 40 different countries worldwide will give presentations. The conference will be opened by Commissioner of the King of Groningen, Max van den Berg.

Guido Berends and Hylke Dijkstra win FEB Research Awards 2023
