Practical Information


Location

The Summerschool Rome 2010 is hosted by the Royal Netherlandish Institute in Rome (KNIR). You can find the Institute in the park Villa Borghese.

Address: Via Omero 10/12, 00197 Roma.

Fee

The fee is € 800 and includes transport to Rome, accommodation, excursions, manuals, a few dinners, social and cultural activities for the during of the Summer School Rome.

 

The University of Groningen has made available four scholarships of 400 euros each. The four most promising participants will be granted these scholarships.

 

We encourage all participants to check out the possibilities of funding at their own university.

Arrival

Participants are expected to arrive at the Institute in Rome Sunday 27 June 2010. As can be seen in the programme, there will be a welcome-dinner Sunday at 7.30 pm and the first lecture will be held Monday 28 June 2010 at 9.15 am.

Visa Assistence

In case participants will be in need of visa assistance, this can be provided by the International Office of the Faculty of Arts.
