The Faculty of Arts is situated in the centre of the City of Groningen. The main building is called Harmoniegebouw (location Oude Kijk in 't Jatstraat 26). The main University building is called Academiegebouw situated at Broerstraat 5.

How to get there

Arriving by train:

Walking to the Faculty of Arts, Harmoniegebouw (Harmony building) (approx. 10 minutes).

Outside the train station, you'll see to your right a modern, yellow museum (Groninger Museum) built at the canal. Cross the bridge "Museumbrug" in front of the museum and just walk straight ahead along the following streets: Ubbo Emmius straat - Folkinge straat - Stoeldraaiersstraat (not to be seen on this map - it is under the sign 'Univ.Bibl.')- Oude Kijk in het Jatstraat.

After approx. 120 meters you'll find a small square at your left with trees and benches. Cross that square, go under the arches and continue walking. You'll find the main entrance in front of you (left side, next to the canteen).

Walking to the Academy Main Building (approx. 10 minutes).

First street to the right is the Broerstraat with the Academy building on the left  side.
