About the Centre of Expertise

Families with multiple and complex problems are families that are characterized by an accumulation of often chronic problems in both socio-economic and psychosocial areas that influence each other and in which families no longer succeed in solving them.

Previous care did not had a permanent impact. Both from a managerial level (at municipalities and the organizational level of institutions) and from an implementation level, there is a major need for expertise and skills related to this target group.

There are no simple solutions to these families’ problems. An integrated perspective and approach are therefore important. Generating, combining, disseminating, training and implementing scientific and practical knowledge with regard to these families is vital, and is the main objective of our Centre of Expertise.
