Student Service Desk and Administration

The student Service Desk can be reached in the following ways:

  • You can contact us on work days from Monday to Friday from
    9:00 to 12:00 hours and from 13:00 to 15:00 hours on phone number
    050-3636301.
  • The desk is open on work days from Monday to Friday from
    10:00 to 12:00 hours. You can visit us then without an appointment. Only for collecting a diploma and copies of a diploma you need to make an appointment first. Our address is:

Modified opening hours

Due to an educational conference the Student Service Desk of the BSS Faculty will be closed in the afternoon of Thursday 14th March 2024. In the morning we can be reached by phone and email.

We are closed on the following public holidays:

  • Friday 29 March 2024 (Good Friday)
  • Monday 1 April 2024 (Easter Monday)
  • Thursday 9 May 2024 (Ascension Thursday)
  • Monday 20 May 2024 (Whit Monday)
What do we do for students?

We provide the following services to students:

  • Questions about design and organization of the study program
  • Questions about registration for courses and exams
  • Questions about forms for exemptions, application for electives, etc.
  • Scheduling appointments with the study advisors (see below for more information)
  • Providing a lists of grades (see below for more information)
  • Providing copies of diplomas (see below for more information).
Providing a list of grades

You can send your request for a grade list from your student email to owbalie.gmw rug.nl. Please include your student number. You will receive a Dutch or English overview of your results on faculty paper, with stamp and signature.

Please note! You can only apply here for a list of marks from the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences.

Requesting an appointment with a study advisor

You can make an appointment with a study advisor with the online booking system. If this doesn’t work, you can contact the Student Service Desk.

The appointment can be physical or online, depending on the workplace of the study advisor and your preference.

Note! Keep your student number and calendar at hand so an appointment can be made quickly.

Requesting a copy of your diploma

You can request a certified copy of your diploma at the Student Service Desk. You will receive a copy of your full diploma, with a stamp and signature on each page.

You can preferably call us to make an appointment. We can then schedule a date and time that is most convenient for you.

You come to the Student Service Desk at the agreed time and please bring the full, original diploma with you. That is, the diploma in Latin and English and the diploma supplement.

Please note! You can only get a copy of your diploma, if the diploma is already in your possession.
