ANNOUNCEMENT
Two 2-day courses on Dynamic Presentation
The research institute Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute (GBB) organizes two 2-day training sessions on Dynamic Presentation in September, 2010. This course will be given by two trainers from Ludens - Seminars & Private Coaching (Zurich, Switzerland). The course is one of the elements of the GBB Training Program.
When:
- Thursday September 20th & Friday September 21st 2012, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Monday September 24th & Tuesday 25th 2012, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Duration:
Two days. Note: The participants are expected to prepare the second day on the evening of the first day.
Content:
The training is meant for scientists (Ph.D. students, post-docs, staff) within GBB, who regularly have to give a presentation and wish to increase its effects. The emphasis will be on composition and optimalisation of the contents (goal-orientation, style, etc.) and on the "dramatic aspects" of a presentation. Through extensive practical exercises the participants learn how they can effectively make use of body language, such as posture, gestures, facial expressions and eye contact, as well as voice and language.
Location:
This course will be held in "Het Kasteel", Melkweg 1 in Groningen. Further details will follow after confirmation of your application.
Application:
Application is strongly recommended to those who really think they need this training. A request to the supervisors is that they stimulate the application of such persons. Since the maximum number of participants per session is 8, applications will be taken on a first come basis.
