19th Annual GBB Symposium

The Groningen Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology Institute (GBB) is composed of 12 research groups of which 3 are located at the Chemistry Building in Groningen and 9 are located in the Centre for Life Sciences . GBB's biomolecular research covers the disciplines Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biophysical Chemistry, Genetics & Microbiology. The research of the GBB aims i) to understand the structure and dynamics of proteins in relation to their function and activity, ii) to unravel the functional role of proteins in living cells, and iii) to obtain insights in the fundamental properties of proteins that are relevant for application in medicine and biotechnology. GBB also aims to provide an attractive research and training environment for our young scientists.

We wish all participants will have stimulating and enjoyable days at our symposium for a yearly dissemination of scientific results.

The organizers,
